The 3 Best Oils for Your Hair

Shampoo, conditioner, hair cream—think you have everything you need in your hair arsenal, don’t you? Nope! You forgot one of the most important items you’ll need to achieve moisturized, strong, and healthy hair—oil!
Contrary to what many people believe, oil is one of the most essential things that can be used for your hair to help maintain it. If you haven’t experimented with oils as part of your hair regimen, you should most definitely give it a try. Check out these three oils that can help your hair look and feel awesome:

1. Avocado Oil

Avocados aren’t only good on salads or sandwiches, they are also great for your hair and carry much of the same nutrients into your hair that you can get from eating them. Avocado oil is neither greasy nor strong-smelling; actually, it hardly has a scent at all. This amazing oil can do it all–it moisturizes dry hair, aids with dandruff, is a great detangler, and is a natural hair replenisher. Mix this oil into your conditioner and use it on a regular basis. It contains healthy fatty acids designed to give your hair all the nutrients it needs to be healthy!

2. Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is an essential oil, which means that it must be diluted with a natural oil because it is too strong to be used on its own. It is a thin, very minty-smelling substance that can be mixed with any oil of your choosing. This oil has a lot of benefits, but the one it is most known for is growth stimulation. Plus, it is packed with nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C, omega-3, calcium, potassium, copper, and magnesium. This oil will also help those with hair infections like lice, or itchy and dry scalps.

3. Apricot Oil

Like avocado and peppermint oil, apricot oil is chock full of beneficial nutrients for your hair such as vitamins A, C, E and K, phosphorous, and manganese. Like avocado oil, it is perfect as moisturizer and like peppermint oil can be used on the scalp for growth stimulation. Apply a little of this to your strands after your hair cream and you’ll be met with soft hair and an abundant amount of shine. You can mix this oil with any of your products as well and it will guarantee shine in every step of your wash day routine.
