Although achieving gorgeous skin may take time, it is possible. Many people struggle with acne, dark spots, or wrinkles and try to find the best products that work. While products are great, there are some natural things you can do to help improve the appearance of your skin. Here are some easy tips that you can try to make your skin look and feel more gorgeous.

Exfoliate

Exfoliating is essential for a smooth complexion because it takes away all of the dead skin cells that are causing your skin to be rough and dry. The build up on your skin can result in excess oil and clogged pores that can cause acne and blemishes. You can buy an exfoliant from the store but if you want to save money just mix honey with sugar or salt for a DIY face scrub. Try to exfoliate two times a week for the best results.

Drink Water

Water is important for our body and our skin because it flushes away toxins. You skin also gets a natural glow when it is hydrated. Try to drink at least 8 cups of water a day to hydrate your skin and clear up your face.

Exercise

Exercising is great for your overall health. It gives you energy and helps relieve stress. But exercise can also help your skin: when doing cardio your blood flow increases to nourish skin cells. Make sure to engage in moderate exercise at least three times a week for the best results. Just remember to wash your face and shower soon after you workout–sweat that’s around too long can cause breakouts.

Get Enough Sleep

Staying up late all the time can have negative effects on your skin. If your body doesn’t get enough rest, it can increase cortisol which is a stress hormone and stress ages your skin and can even make you breakout. Get at least 7 to 8 hours a sleep a day to  help improve your complexion.
